Our Story

We are Allie Cacy and Jenny Herman. We are best friends, lovers of Jesus, and we are about to begin our adventures in India. A non-profit organization has given us the opportunity to serve the girls home they support in India.  On January 7th, they're sending us over to spend four months serving at this orphanage. The staff members currently there are taking care of almost 40 girls, and they could really use some help. We really want to be loving on the girls, spending time with them and showing them that they have value and worth. Our dream is to show them the abundant love that Jesus has for each one of them.
We will be living, eating, sleeping, and playing with these beautiful girls, as well as caring for them and mentoring them as older sisters would. Also, we will serve as general staff members, making sure that each girl is clean, does her chores and homework, and is ready for school. In the afternoons, we will be tutoring some of them in English. Both of us are so excited for what the Lord has for us on this trip. This is going to be a life changing experience! Thanks for stopping by. We love you for reading this :)

Meet Jenny ♥

This is Jenny :) I'm almost 18 years old. I love kids and have always loved helping people. The theme of this trip really resonated with my heart. I love kids and am overjoyed to be given the chance to love on almost 40 orphans. I'm excited to be able to support those running the orphanage and to help the kids with daily responsibilities. We will also be tutoring the kids in English, which is exciting because I love to teach. What is more, I will be going with my best friend! When Allie first told me she might be going to India, I longed to go with her. I had wanted to go on a mission trip for the longest time, but had been waiting for the Lord to open a door. This is a perfect opportunity, and when she told me that they were looking for two people, I was completely shocked and overwhelmed. For the next couple days I prayed about it, and the more I prayed, the more I felt I should go. Everyone I have talked with has been supportive. I am a little nervous about leaving my friends and family, but I know this is what the Lord wants for me and I am so excited!

Meet Allie ♥
This is Allie :) I'm 18 years old. I visited the childrens' home for two weeks when I was 15, and completely fell in love with the girls and the orphanage. Since then I have dreamed about going back, but never really knew if it would happen or not. Then all of a sudden, the opportunity just fell into my lap. My mom, who works on staff for the organization, mentioned that they were looking for two girls to send to love and care for the girls at the orphanage. My heart literally leaped inside of me and I just knew that I had to go back to those precious girls. Now I'm going to be returning in January with my best friend Jenny, doing what I love, and I could not be more excited. God is so good!

Thanks for all your love and support! We love you all :)
